Lafia based Nigeria National League side; Aklosendi International will travel to Abuja on Friday to keep a date with NAF Rocket fc of Abuja in their week 1 encounter.
Speaking ahead of the encounter, the head coach of Aklosendi Int’l Fc of Lafia, Coach Gideon David said Abuja is more of their home; therefore their aim is to come and pick the three points at stake.
He told instant Africa sports that the management of the club has done the needful ahead of the encounter and the boys are in high spirit looking forward to the encounter.
It will be recalled that Aklosendi Int’l finished third position in the last season and will be aiming to pick the promotion slot available at the end of the season.
Meanwhile, the NNL management has announced that the registration of players and collection of licenses will officially close on Wednesday November 20th, 2019.
The league body also warned all clubs to meet up with the deadline as late registration will attract a fine of two hundred thousand naira only.
According to the Chief Operative Officer, COO NNL, Lawrence Katken, “Any club that fails to complete all formalities on or before Friday 22nd November 2019 will not participate in the league.”
