The Commandant General of Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps NSCDC, Abdullahi Gana Muhammadu, has said that the services of the Agro Rangers of the Corps is free to farmers and herders across Nigeria.
A press statement by Ekunola Gbenga, the Media Assistant to the Commandant-General on Wednesday said the vision and the mission of the Commandant General, is ensuring that a diligent operation, transparency and dedication is a task that must be accomplished,” he said.
The Commandant General acknowledged and recognized the gallantry, competency and professionalism of the Agro Rangers personnel of the Corps and charged them to be good ambassadors of the Corps and the nation as a whole.
The government of President Muhammadu Buhari has invested a lot in term of training and retraining of officers of the Corps in order to make lives worthy living for Nigerians, therefore you must discharge your responsibility of safeguarding lives and property of the citizenry most especial in area of your core mandate as Agro rangers to help protect farmers – herders in the country, Gana said.
Ekunola said of the Corps mandates is to ensure security of lives and properties and to protect all farmers and herders in the country based on international core values of policing and integrity.
