Chief Road Traffic Officers launch book in Abuja

The National Conference of Directors/Chief Road Traffic Officers of the Federation will tomorrow Thursday 25th April, 2019 launch a book titled ‘Driving without Tears”, in a latest attempt to educate drivers and motoring public in the country.
The consultant of the National Conference of Directors/Chief Road Traffic Officers of the Federation and the Executive Director of Accident Prevention and Rescue Initiative (APRI) Prince Fidelix Nnadi who disclosed this in a press statement he issued in Abuja, expressed satisfaction over the efforts of the author to get the book published.
According to the statement, the author of the book, Engr Paul Bapeh who is also the Director/Chief Road Traffic Officer of Cross Rivers State has confirmed that the book is aimed at educating drivers towards reducing the rate of road crashes on the nation’s highways.
The statement further informed that the launching will also feature the induction of Road Traffic Mayors within FCT and environs.
The event which is to be hosted by Honourable Minister of Federal Capital Territory, Mallam Mohammed Bello will equally deliberate on issues of inadequate funding for Road Traffic and vehicle Inspection agencies of state and FCT.
