The former Perm Sec. Olusade Olusola handiover to Gabriel Aduda at the ministry of youths and sports on Monday

The former permanent secretary of the federal ministry of youth and sports, Mr. Olusade Olusola on Monday bid his former staff of the ministry goodbye as he handed over to the new permanent secretary, Mr. Gabriel Aduda who has so far settled in the sector despite been appointed less than a week now.
While handing over to Aduda, Mr. Olusola identified funding as one of the key challenges the ministry of Youth and Sports development is facing and urged his successor to use his influence to attract funding into the ministry.
Olusola also in an emotional tune appealed to his former staff to accord the same support they gave me during his two years and few months stayed at the ministry to his successor, noting that they have got a good man that can move the ministry forward if supported.
In his remark, Mr. Aduda thanked his predecessor for his good job at the ministry and pledged to take his work to the next level of development.
Aduda, a soft spoken senior civil servant demanded the total support from the staff of the ministry to enable them move the ministry to the next level. He noted that they can only achieve that if all hands are on deck.
Also, the former Permanent Secretary Political and Economic Affairs Office and Chairman National Authority on Chemical & Biological Weapons Convention (NAC&BWC), Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, pledged his readiness to work with all the staff of the ministry, including the union for the growth and development of the sector.
“I knew when my friend, my predecessor was here with you gave him full cooperation which made him excelled, therefore, I want to ask you to give me more than enough cooperation to enable me together with all of you take the development of the ministry to the next level,” Aduda demanded.
It will be recalled that President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday appointed Gabriel Tanimu Aduda as the Permanent Secretary, ministry of youth and sports as well as 18 others to various ministries.
Aduda, was before now Permanent Secretary Political and Economic Affairs Office and Chairman National Authority on Chemical & Biological Weapons Convention (NAC&BWC), Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, has cross cutting experience in management, administration and consulting with, wide ranging involvement in government and non-governmental sectors.
