A Non-Governmental Organisation, Husband of the Widow Foundation International has unveiled programmes aimed at putting  smile on the faces of widows, youths, orphans and the vulnerable in Ebonyi and Abia states this festive season through empowerment, training and free medical services.

Unveiling the progrmme in Abuja CEO of the group Chinatu NgozI Dickson said that the programme will target widows, youths and orphans in the rural areas of the Abiriba and Ishiagu communities of Abia and Ebonyi states.

According to him, the event is a way of giving the less privileged a sense of belonging. He therefore called on good spirited individuals, charity organisations as well as serving and former leaders in the two states to support this initiative.

“The programme is scheduled between 26th and 28th December, 2019. We are going to train our youths, widows, and the less privileged in these communities on bakery, snail farming as well as free medical services. We also intend to give startup capital to some of them who distinguished themselves during the training.

“Our major aims and objective is to assist unemployed youths, widows and the less privileged in our society. We also want to provide affordable healthcare services to the widows and less privileged. With support from you, we can promote charity works throughout Africa, mostly in rural areas.
