Disregard Vote of No Confidence on NAHCON Boss, CSOs Urge Tinubu

The Coalition of Civil Society Groups for Peace, Security, Good Governance, Equity and Justice, and the Media Practitioners for Development, wish to express our unwavering support for Prof. Abdullahi Pakistan, the Chairman of the National Hajj Commission.

We urge the authorities to disregard the vote of no confidence passed on Prof. Abdullahi Pakistan by his commissioners. This move is a clear attempt to undermine his efforts to promote transparency and accountability in the commission.

Prof. Abdullahi Pakistan has consistently demonstrated his commitment to upholding the tenets of Islam and promoting good governance. His recent trip to Saudi Arabia in preparation for the forthcoming Hajj is a testament to his dedication to ensuring a successful and corruption-free pilgrimage.

We commend Prof. Abdullahi Pakistan for his patriotism and commitment to serving the nation with integrity. The so-called vote of no confidence is borne out of his refusal to engage in illegal and corrupt acts, and we stand by him.

We call on all well-meaning Nigerians to support Prof. Abdullahi Pakistan as he continues to lead the National Hajj Commission with transparency and accountability.
