In collaboration with the tsboi.ai, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has on Thursday announced the unveiling of “Drive Alive 2025,” an ambitious public‑awareness campaign aimed at drastically reducing road traffic fatalities during Nigeria’s critical Ember Months, the period from October through December when travel spikes and crash risk escalates.

The “Drive Alive 2025” is powered by tsboi.ai, an AI‑indexing and engagement platform that will provide interactive safety pledges, state‑level leaderboards, community story hubs, dynamic safety guidelines, and corridor‑risk awareness maps.

Recalled that between January and September 2025 Nigeria recorded 3,433 road‑traffic fatalities and over 22,000 injuries; other estimates suggest up to 7,715 crashes and nearly 3,915 deaths for the full year, underscoring the urgent need for intensified safety action.

Through the initiative citizens can digitally pledge to practice safe driving and earn “Safety Guardian” badges, fostering personal commitment, state‑kevel leaderboards, competitive rankings encourage community pride and motivate safer driving habits across states.

A moderated user‑generated content hub lets Nigerians share real‑life road‑safety experiences and practical tips, building a localized knowledge base, dynamic safety guidelines and corridor risk maps and accessible “dos and don’ts” tailored to local road conditions plus interactive maps highlighting high‑risk segments to help travelers plan safer routes.

For its benefits to all, Nigerians are urged to visit the campaign website to sign the safety pledge, access resources, and share their stories, joining the national effort to achieve zero fatalities during the 2025 Ember Months.
